STEAK WITH TOMATOES AND ONIONS 
2 beef top loin steaks, cut 1 inch thick
1/2 c. steak sauce, divided
2 c. sliced onion
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. canned peeled tomatoes, broken up
1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1/4 c. chopped parsley

Cook onions in butter in medium saucepan over medium high heat until tender, add tomatoes, 1/4 cup steak sauce and vinegar. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat stir in parsley. Set aside. Place steak on rack in broiler pan so surface of meat is 3 to 4 inches from heat. Broil 12 to 17 minutes to doneness desired (rare to medium rare), turning once. Brush with remaining steak sauce. Makes 4 servings.
