BRAIDED CHALLAH EGG BREAD 
2 packs yeast
2 1/2 c. warm water
6 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. oil
4 eggs
9 c. flour

Combine yeast and warm water in very large bowl. Add eggs, slightly beaten. Add oil, sugar and salt. Stir well, add flour and mix well. Form into a ball. Grease bowl, place dough in bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 1/2 hours.

Punch dough and divide into 4 equal pieces. Divide each piece into 3 strips. Braid each group of 3 strips and pinch ends together. Place in greased loaf pan and let rise 1 hour. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cover with foil if bread gets too brown. Makes 4 loaves.
