FOUNDATION SWEET DOUGH 
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
7 c. flour
2 c. lukewarm water
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs

Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. In large mixing bowl add yeast and water, sugar, oil, salt and eggs; mix. Add flour slowly to make a stiff batter. Beat well. Add remainder of flour and mix well. Turn out on floured board and knead until satiny. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled in bulk. When light, punch down and shape into tea ring, rolls or coffee cakes.
