REDWOOD ROOM APPLE PIE 
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. sugar
1 pt. drained apple slices
1/4 c. can milk
3 tbsp. butter

Cook together until thick. Add drained apples and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and cool.

TOPPING:

(Will cover 2 pies) 1/3 c. sugar 1 egg 1/2 c. walnuts 1/2 c. coconut 1 baked pie crust

Put apple filling in baked pie crust. Spoon topping over apples then sprinkle with walnuts and coconut. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
