PEPPER STEAK 
2 lb. round steak
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 green peppers, cut into thin strips
1 (1 lb.) can whole tomatoes
1 (1 lb.) can bean sprouts, drained

Preheat pan on range top over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Cut steak in pieces and brown for 10 minutes. In small bowl combine garlic, onion, salt, pepper, ginger, sugar and soy sauce. Pour over meat. Cover and simmer for 2 hours. About 1/2 hour before serving time, add green pepper, tomatoes and beans sprouts.
