BUSY DAY CHICKEN AND RICE 
2 c. uncooked rice
1 chicken, cut up
1/4 lb. butter (1 stick)
2 pkg. dry onion soup mix
4 c. boiling water
Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan. Cover bottom evenly with rice. Arrange chicken pieces on rice, dot with butter. Sprinkle dry onion soup over top, salt and pepper to taste. Pour boiling water in pan and bake for about 1 hour.
