WHISKEY COOKIES 
1 c. and 3 tbsp. butter (1/2 butter)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. currants
1 c. chopped nuts
1 oz. whiskey
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. flour

Mix all ingredients; refrigerate for easy handling. Make into small balls and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
