EASY CHICKEN A LA KING 
1/2 stick butter
1/3 c. flour
Salt to taste
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
3/4 c. milk
2 c. cooked and diced chicken
1 c. peas; optional
Sm. jar chopped pimentos; optional

Melt butter over low flame. Blend in flour and salt. Add chicken broth and milk; turn flame to high. Stir constantly until thick. Add chicken, peas, and pimentos. Simmer, uncovered for 10 minutes. Serve on buttered toast or muffins. Approximately 8-10 servings.
