CHOCOLATE-SPRINKLED BROWN SUGAR
CAKE
 
3 c. all purpose flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
3/4 c. firm butter
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 tbsp. firm butter
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/3 c. chocolate sprinkles

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Mix in brown sugar. Add butter to make fine crumbs. Remove 1 cup for topping. Add milk, vanilla, and egg to remains. Beat until batter is smooth. Spread batter in buttered, lightly floured 13 x 9 pan. Add 3 tablespoon butter into topping mix. Stir in walnuts and chocolate sprinkles. Sprinkle evenly over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
