FINGER SALAD OR VEGETABLE PIZZA DOUGH | |
1/4 c. butter 2 tbsp. sugar 1/4 c. boiling water Combine in a large bowl. Stir until dissolved, cool to lukewarm. Sprinkle 1 package active dry yeast into 1/4 cup very warm water. Let stand a few minutes, then stir until dissolved. 1 egg, beaten 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt Add yeast and egg to butter mixture. Then add flour and salt, mix well and cool. Pour on well-greased sheet pan and press evenly. Fingers need to be very greasy. Bake at 325 degrees until done, just golden brown. Cool. Add 1 package HIDDEN VALLEY® Ranch dressing to 1 pint sour cream and spread on dough. Then top with vegetables and cheese, then cut up and serve. You can use 2 packages of cream cheese and 1 cup salad dressing instead of sour cream. |
