BAR-B-QUE RIBS
3 to 4 lbs. lean pork spare ribs
1 tbsp. salt
Onion, chopped

BAR-B-QUE SAUCE:

1 c. ketchup
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. water
Pinch of red pepper

Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Trim excess fat from pork spare ribs. Cut into serving size pieces. Place in deep kettle and cover with cold water. Add salt. Bring to boil, then simmer for 45 minutes. Remove from heat immediately and drain in colander.

Place ribs in shallow baking pan, pieces laid side by side trying not to overlap. Sprinkle with chopped onions. Cover with barbeque sauce. Cook in 350 degree oven, uncovered for 1 hour and serve hot. Serves 4.
