LASAGNAWICHES 
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
15 oz. can tomato sauce
1/3 c. onion soup mix (regular)
1/4 tsp. ground oregano
1/2 tsp. dried basil, crushed
1 c. low-fat or fat-free cottage cheese, drained
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
8 to 10 (6 inch) French rolls, or sub rolls

Brown ground beef, drain well. Stir in tomato sauce and spices. Simmer at low boil for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Mix Parmesan and cottage cheese. Slice off top of each roll and hollow out center dough.

Fill bottom with a layer of ground beef mixture. Top with thin layer of cottage cheese mixture. Replace top lid, wrap in foil and bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
