1 1/2 c. macaroni (cooked as directed on pkg.)
1 lb. hamburger meat
3 med. onions, chopped
1 tbsp. shortening
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
1 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 c. grated cheese

In large skillet brown hamburger meat in shortening with onions. Add tomato sauce and cook 15 minutes. Add all other ingredients. Put in casserole. Top with cheese and bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
