BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. finely chopped onions
1 1/2 lbs. fresh mushrooms (or use canned)
6 tbsp. flour
3 c. bouillon (beef)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. tomato paste (if desired)
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. heavy cream (1/2 and 1/2)
3 1/2 lbs. meat (top round or sirloin tips)
1 pkg. cooked noodles or 8 c. cooked rice

Saute meat and onions in butter. Add flour and slowly add bouillon, stirring constantly until smooth. Add salt and Worcestershire sauce. (Add tomato paste if you are using it.) Add sliced mushrooms (fresh or canned) and cook mixture until meat is tender.

Round steak will take about 45 minutes and sirloin only about 25 minutes. When meat is 1/2 cooked, prepare rice or noodles. When meat is tender, add cream and sour cream. Do not boil after that! Heat well and serve over rice or noodles. Serves 10-12.
