CHERRIE BERRIE ON THE SNOW 
6 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. powdered sugar
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. Cool Whip
2 c. miniature marshmallows
6 oz. cream cheese

Heat oven to 275 degrees. Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until frothy. Gradually beat in sugar. Beat until stiff and glossy. Spread meringue in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 60 minutes. Turn off oven and leave until cool.

Mix cream cheese with 1 cup powdered sugar and gently fold in Cool Whip and marshmallows. Spread over meringue and top with pie filling, such as cherry, strawberry, or peach. Can use fresh fruit.
