MEAT SAUCE FOR SPAGHETTI OR
LASAGNA
 
3 lbs. ground chuck

Brown meat, add chopped onions, season while cooking with garlic and seasoning salt and pepper. Stir in one envelope of spaghetti sauce seasoning mix and oregano as desired.

Plus enough water to rinse out the cans. Simmer on low heat for an hour or two. After the sauce has simmered and cooked down you may have to add a little more water as needed. Serve over spaghetti or use sauce to make lasagna.

LASAGNA:

Cook lasagna noodles as directed on package, do not overcook!

Prepare meat sauce as above.

May use shredded Mozzarella cheese only, or mix with cottage cheese. Layer meat sauce, noodles and cheese - repeat layer and finish with cheese. I always make two pans and freeze one pan unbaked.
