PEANUT BUTTER BREAD
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1 1/2 c. scalded milk
1/4. warm water
4 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 egg, beaten

In large bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, salt, and scalded milk. Beat well for at least 1 minute and set aside to cool to lukewarm.

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add yeast mixture to peanut butter mixture; add egg and mix.

Gradually add 4 cups of flour, mixing thoroughly. Kneed dough on floured board and add the remaining 1/2 cup of flour.

Place dough in greased bowl and let rise to double in size. Keep warm and out of draft. Knead again and shape into greased loaf pan until almost double again. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
