BRATTLEBORO (Vermont) PEANUT
BUTTER BREAD
 
3 c. all-purpose flour
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. milk
1 c. peanut butter (plain or chunky)

Sift flour. Add baking powder, salt and sugar. Sift again. Gradually add milk to peanut butter and blend. Add flour mixture and stir just enough to moisten. (Don't beat.) Batter will be stiff. Pour into well greased loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool 5 minutes and remove from pan.
