MEATLESS GREEN BEANS | |
1 lb. fresh string beans 1/2 c. chopped onions 3/4 c. oil (any kind) 3 med. tomatoes, chopped 2 cloves garlic Salt and pepper to taste Heat oil; add chopped onions and garlic. Fry for 10 minutes until golden brown. Stir frequently. Add tomatoes, water, and string beans. Cook all until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Season to taste. Serve cold. |
