CHICKEN CACCIATORE 
8 pieces boneless chicken
1/2 c. flour
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 (3 oz.) cans sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1/2 c. oil or shortening
3/4 c. green peppers
1 lb. can tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sweet basil

Wash chicken and coat with flour. Heat oil to 350 degrees and fry coated chicken 15 minutes each side. Remove chicken and drain off excess oil. Place chicken and remaining ingredients in pan and cook over medium heat for approximately 45 minutes. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
