POPCORN BALLS | |
Approximately 1 gallon of popped corn 1/2 stick butter 1 c. Karo syrup 2 tsp. cold water, with 1 tsp. of baking soda 2 c. sugar In saucepan, melt 1/2 stick butter over low heat. Add 2 cups sugar and 1 cup Karo syrup. Bring to a boil for about a minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add 2 teaspoons cold water with 1 teaspoon of baking soda. This will foam up. Pour over popped corn and mix well. Butter up your hands and make into balls. Yields about 20 balls. Done in about 10 minutes. |
