POPCORN BALLS 
5 poppers of corn

Oven crisp popcorn at 200 degrees while making syrup.

SYRUP:

1 c. dark Karo
2 c. white sugar
1 or 2 tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar
1/3 c. water
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix Karo, white sugar, lemon juice (or vinegar), 1/3 cup water; hard boil or ball crack at 280 degrees. Add butter and cream of tartar at the end. Use rubber gloves and shape loosely into balls.
