ITALIAN PRUNE PLUM BREAD 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each. Add vanilla.

3 c. flour
1 tsp. each salt, cream of tartar, cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda

3/4 c. sour cream
2 tsp. grated orange peel
2 c. pitted, diced prune plums

Add sour cream mixture alternately to creamed mixture with flour mixture. Add plums. Divide between 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until done. Cool 10 minutes then remove from pans.
