CANNED APPLE PIE FILLING 
8 c. water
3/4 c. cornstarch
4 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt

Cook until thick. Add 3 tablespoons lemon juice or real lemon. Peel and slice enough apples to fill 7 quart sized sterilized canning jars.

Pour filling over apples, seal and process in water bath for 20 minutes after water starts boiling. Good way to use your culled apples and is very good.
