TEXAS TOMATO STEAK SAUCE 
1 (16 oz.) can diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 green pepper (diced)
1 onion (chopped)
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. basil
2 tbsp. vegetable oil

Broil or pan fry your steaks as desired. Meanwhile, cook chopped onion and diced green pepper in 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat until golden and very tender, but not yet brown. After steaks are done, remove them and keep their juice.

Mix the can of tomatoes, green peppers, onions, 1 teaspoon basil and 1 teaspoon black pepper with the steak juice. Heat mixture thoroughly and spoon over cooked steaks.
