My daughter & I decided to try this recipe... The only thing was she didn't drain the peaches. Hopefully, it'll still turn out right. She didn't want to waste the syrup.

Instead of dairy milk, what about using some of the non-dairy milks on the market now? How about Coconut Milk, Almond Milk, Rice Milk, Hemp Milk....

This is easy and delicious. I added cinnamon and nutmeg to mine. Next time I will add a little sugar on top of the crust once it begin to brown to see if this will make the crust more crispy.

I love this recipe. I do add one teaspoon vanilla to the batter, and I think it tastes better. Thanks so much!

My Mama made this cobbler and called it "Lazy woman's Pie "because it was so easy and could be stirred up in a hurry. I use self rising flour which eliminates the baking powder. Just melt a stick of butter in a 13x9 inch pan. Pour in any fruit, cherries, blackberries or strawberries. Mix 1 cup flour with one cup sugar and whisk together then add one cup milk and 1 tsp. vanilla or flavoring of your choice. fruit can be added to melted butter or you can add flour mixture first. Either way the batter always rises to the top. Fast and easy dessert.

This is a super simple recipe that comes out easy. It's not the fanciest or to be completely honest the absolute best cobbler I've ever made but for times when you don't feel like spending a ton of money or hours making the "perfect" cobbler this once is quite good. I'd say Sunday dinner desert good but not Christmas awesome.

My husband loved it, I thought it was way too sweet. I would definitely reduce the sugar & include the syrup from the can, & even add more peaches. Had to cook it for at least 25 more minutes.
