OATMEAL CARAMELETTA 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, melted
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
3/4 c. caramel ice cream topping
3 tbsp. flour

Mix first 6 ingredients to form crumbs. Press 1/2 of mixture in an 11x7-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Blend caramel with flour. Pour over chocolate and nuts. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown. Chill and cut into bars.
