CHEDDAR CHEESE LOG 
2 1/2 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
1 stick butter, softened
1/3 c. finely chopped pimento
1 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. liquid hot pepper sauce or to taste
1/4 tsp. salt (can be omitted)
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 c. chopped walnuts

Combine all ingredients (except walnuts) thoroughly blend. Chill for 1 hour. Shape into a log about 10 inches long, 2 inches in diameter. Coat evenly with 3/4 cup chopped walnuts, lightly pressing nuts into cheese. Wrap in wax paper, chill several hours. Serve with crispy crackers.
