HYDROX DESSERT 
1/2 lb. Hydrox cookies, crushed
1 pt. whipping cream
1 env. Knox unflavored gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
2/3 c. boiling water
4 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar

Soak gelatin in cold water. Add hot water and cool. Beat egg whites and add sugar gradually. Beat until stiff. Fold in whipped cream and cooled gelatin. Press 1/2 Hydrox cookies into 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour whipping cream mixture over crumbs. Sprinkle remaining cookies on top.
