CHRIS' EASY SALSA | |
4 cups (1 quart) home canned tomatoes (is best) or 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes (Hunts) 1 medium onion, chopped 4 or 5 jalapenos, chopped 1/4 tsp. sugar 1/8 tsp. black pepper 1/8 tsp. white pepper 1/4 tsp. ground cumin 1/4 tsp. savory salt 1/4 tsp. dried red chili pepper 1/4 tsp. garlic powder Place all ingredients in blender, using chop cycle pulse to desired texture. Serve with your favorite corn chips. Salsa will get hotter with age. Refrigerate unused portion for later snack. Submitted by: Chris Unthank |
