ORIENTAL HAMBURGERS 
1/2 c. soy sauce
1 or 2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tomato
1 green pepper
8 French rolls or hamburger buns
1/2 c. water
2 tsp. grated French ginger
3 lbs. ground round
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

Combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger, water, Worcestershire and sugar. Shape beef patties and marinate for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Lift patties, drain and grill. Baste several times while cooking. Dip rolls in reserve marinade and serve hamburgers with thin slices of tomato and green pepper (I even dip those!).
