TURTLE CAKE 
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. nuts
1 c. chocolate chips
1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix

Mix cake mix as directed on the package. Add butter and mix well. Pour 1/2 batter into a 13 x 9 inch cake pan. Bake 10 minutes. Melt caramels and evaporated milk - spoon over the baked portion. Sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over this. Pour remaining butter on top and bake 15-20 minutes or until done at 350 degrees. Serve with whipped cream.
