COCONUT BREAD 
4 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 tsp. coconut flavoring

Beat eggs; add sugar, oil and coconut flavoring.

3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Alternate dry ingredients with 1 cup buttermilk. Fold in 1 cup coconut. Spoon into greased and floured bread pans or 1 tube pan. Bake 1 1/4 hours at 325 degrees.

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. butter

Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon coconut flavoring. Cool. Spoon over hot bread. Do not remove bread from pans for 4 hours.
