CHICKEN SOUP (CSIRKE LEVES) 
1 (3-4 lb.) chicken
6 qts. water
3 ribs celery
3 carrots
1 med. onion
Parsley to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

Wash their chicken well and place in pot with the water. Cook on medium heat until the top of the soup starts to foam, then turn down the meat and remove all the foam. When the foam is gone put in the onion, salt, pepper and paprika. Now let it cook for about 1 hour then add celery and carrots. Cook gently until chicken is well cooked and vegetables are soft. Serve with thin noodles. This is often called Hungarian Penicillen. It is good when some one is sick or has a cold.
