1/2 c. butter or shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter, plain or crunchy
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
4 tsp. salt

Combine shortening, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar and egg until creamy. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Using teaspoon, spoon dough and roll into ball in your hand. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Using fork, dip fork in flour and press down on ball criss cross. Bake at 375 degrees.
