APRICOT NUT BREAD 
1/2 c. chopped dried apricots
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 1/4 c. pkg. biscuit mix
1 c. uncooked oatmeal
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
1 1/4 c. milk

In large bowl, mix biscuit mix, oats, sugar, salt, baking powder, apricots, and nuts. In small bowl, beat egg, then add milk. With spoon, stir egg mixture into biscuit mixture; beat hard 30 seconds. Place in greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Wrap in plastic wrap overnight.
