ELEPHANT SOUP | |
1 med. size elephant Salt Pepper 5-6 bushels cloves 150 gallons water 2 rabbits (optional) Cut elephant into bite-size pieces. Wash cloves. Bring water to a boil. Add elephant chunks and cloves to water. Let boil for 24 hours. Turn heat down and simmer for an additional 72 hours. Salt and pepper to taste. This will serve approximately 1, 800 people. If more guests are expected the rabbits may be added. Do this only if necessary... most people do not like "hare" in their soup. |
