HUNGARIAN CABBAGE ROLLS 
2 cloves fresh garlic
2 med. onions
2 lg. heads cabbage
Meatloaf mix (ground beef and pork mix)
Paprika
Salt
Pepper
Rice
1 lg. can tomato sauce
4 strips bacon

Brown garlic and onion in oil. Meanwhile, have pot of water boiling for cabbage. Remove core from inner of cabbage for easy access of leaves. Put cabbage in boiling water for approximately 5 minutes. Do not cook cabbage thoroughly. Remove leaves carefully from cabbage; let cool.

Put onions and garlic after browned in meatloaf mixture. Add salt, pepper, paprika, and rice to mixture. Mix well. Save water from cabbage to cook cabbage rolls in. Take each leaf from cabbage, except the tine ones, and roll your meat mixture in leaves carefully. Tuck sides of cabbage in as you roll to keep rolls together. Cut up leftover cabbage in bottom of pan and save some for the top.

Arrange cabbage rolls in pan and put a strip of bacon between layers for flavor. Cut up remaining cabbage on top of cabbage rolls. Fill pan with water from the cabbage; add water from tap if need be. Pour 1 large can of tomato sauce in pan. Cook over low heat on stove for 2-3 hours. Delicious.
