OATMEAL CARAMELETTS 
32 caramels
5 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. quick=cooking oats
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, melted
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Melt caramels and milk. Let cool. Combine rest of ingredients (except chips and nuts) in large bowl. Press 1/2 mixture in a 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes. Sprinkle on chips and nuts. Spread the candy mixture on. Press remaining 1/2 of oat mixture on candy and bake 15 minutes more. Let cool and enjoy.
