1 c. baking molasses
3 c. flour
1 tsp. ginger
1 c. sugar
3 eggs

Beat this well, then add 1 1/2 teaspoons soda on the batter. Then pour 1 cup boiling water and stir well. Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees until done.
