BANANA BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 med. size bananas, ripe

Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs, sift dry ingredients and add along with the milk. Mash bananas to a pulp, stir into batter, add chopped nuts. Pour into a greased and floured 2 pound bread loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour or until done in 350 degree oven.
