2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk

Put 1/2 stick butter in a 12" teflon skillet and melt. Add 1/2 to 3/4 cup brown sugar. Then when all has mixed and spread turn off burner. Drain 1 can of sliced pineapple and put around in skillet, place 1 maraschino cherry in center of each ring. Then put cake dough on top and bake at 350 degrees until cake tests done. Have plate ready so as to put on skillet and flip out.
