OATMEAL MAPLE COOKIES | |
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 1/2 cup granulated sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 3 cups Quaker oats 1/2 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1/4 cup maple syrup Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add oats, mix well. Add baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, all-purpose flour and mix well. Add maple syrup and mix well. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 16 minutes or until golden/light brown. Cool completely. Store tightly covered in cool area.
