6 tbsp. butter
2 c. sugar
2 beaten eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. each nutmeg, salt & cinnamon
2 tsp. baking soda
6 c. cubed apples
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Mix butter and sugar well. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Add flour, spices, salt and soda. Mix well and add apples and nuts. Place mixture in greased and floured 9"x13" pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
