CINNAMON COFFEE CAKE 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. oil
2 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. buttermilk

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 inch pan or 2 (8 inch) square pans. Combine flour, sugars, 2 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon, ginger, salt and oil in large bowl. Blend well.

Transfer 1/2 cup of mixture to small bowl. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and set aside.

Add buttermilk, egg, baking powder and baking soda to remaining mixture and blend thoroughly. Turn batter into prepared pan, spreading evenly. Sprinkle with cinnamon topping.

Bake about 35 minutes. Serve warm or cool. Serves 12 to 16.
