HARVARD BEETS 
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk vinegar
2 c. cubed, canned or cooked beets

Melt butter; add cornstarch, sugar and salt, blend. Add vinegar, cook until thick. Add beets, heat thoroughly.
