ZESTY MINI MEAT BALLS 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. green pepper, diced
1/2 c. med. onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, diced
4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 sprig thyme
1/2 c. ketchup
1 c. water
3 tbsp. cooking oil

Mix ground beef and the next six seasoning ingredients. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours. Remove meat from refrigerator and keep at room temperature. Form meat mixture into small balls.

Heat 3 tablespoons oil in skillet. Brown meat balls in hot oil. Discard excess oil if desired. Add 1 cup water, pinch of salt and pepper and 1 sprig of thyme. Add 1/2 cup ketchup. Simmer for 10 minutes. Serve with white rice or macaroni shells or twists.
