STEAK SUPPER - CHUCK STEAK (In
Foil)
 
1 1/2 lb. chuck steak, 1" thick
1 can (10 1/2 oz.) cream of mushroom or celery soup
1 env. (1 1/2 oz.) dehydrated onion soup mix
Can also use mushrooms fresh
3 med. carrots, quartered
2 stalks celery, cut into 2" lengths
2-3 med. potatoes, pared & quartered
Green beans
2 tbsp. water

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Lay heavy-duty foil in baking pan. Place meat in center. Mix mushroom soup and onion soup mix; spread over meat. Top with vegetables. Sprinkle vegetables with water. Fold foil over and seal securely to hold in juices. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Makes 4 servings.
