FLAKY PIE CRUST 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2-4 tbsp. cold water

Sift flour, salt, sugar together. Cut into the shortening with knife. Add water slowly, stirring lightly to make thick dough.

Roll to 1/8-inch thickness and place in greased pie pans. Press, shape, and trim. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes 2 pie crusts.
