FLAKY PIE CRUST (NEVER FAIL) | |
3 c. sifted flour 1 tsp. salt 1 c. lard or other shortening Blend together. Beat 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vinegar and 5 tablespoons cold water. Stir this mixture into the flour mixture and shape into 8 balls for single crust or 4 double crusts. This may be frozen or stored in the refrigerator for a while. |
